This Sunday we had all sorts of rotor traffic out of Moffett. Supporting the Marine beer bust in Monterey? All morning there was this persistent wackawacka, then it got LOUD.
First a flight of eight Chinooks at waht? Fifteen hundred feet. Big sound from those multiblade counterrotating doodads. Then a Sea King, another multiblade job (for ASW?) and the odd Huey.
Later, four Harriers in *tight* formation came and buzzed the neighborhood. Funky looking jets.
