Additionally, Cienna's decision to 'make it on its own', certainly lends affirmation that MRV is on the right track in developing advanced optical products 'inside'. In fact I bet that MRV is uniquely positioned to assist in the development of these technologies on an 'international' scale because of the background of its management & its ties to advanced research & engineering facilities on several continents. Wishfull thinking? Perhaps, but when all is said & thru MRV should have an internaltional infrastructure to design, deliver, & support some of the most high performance optical networking products on the planet. The big IF is can they pull it off, & the silence surrounding such endevours has shaken even those long term MRVrs nerves. I suppose the good news is that we probably won't have to wait much past the current year to find out. IF they can do it, MRV stock will be far to the north of current levels. Regis
