One can extract some information from Open Interest and Volume. The volume are the number of contracts traded that day and the open interest are the number of positions held. So, if your open interest goes up by 8 and the number of contracts traded for that day was also 8, you can bet it was all buying.

A little Herman algrebra x + y = :-)....... x - y = :-(
