Hi Harry -

Haven't been here for awhile and this is the first I've read your post. I appreciate your having a value in my opinion; good or bad here's a dollar/risk/competition to payoff perspective:

Sort of philosophical...

VISX in reality is trading as have today over $150 a share (taking the split into consideration) and I am only aware of 1.

SNRS is trading at less than $10.

Question: What is the potential value of SNRS stock?

These are the two players for the eye care treatment of this kind.

VISIX has the FDA approvals and SNRS does not.

VISIX is in the money.... And is paving the way for a competitive treatment, both market and consumer acceptance is implied here which is taking place and gaining momentum....

I wonder what if that competitive treatment was more effective, less expensive to the consumer and the machine that administered the treatment (of course being operated by a highly skilled, specialized Dr.) was also superior and less expensive for the Dr. to purchase.... Was available through another company!

Would you want stock in that company?

I said Yahoo yes!

Everything rides on the FDA approval though...

The FDA risk Vs the reward isn't high enough to discourage me.

It is possible that the approval will not happen. And it is also possible that the Y2K concerns are going to screw up everything, effecting Corp earnings, air traffic control, the utilities, etc.

Is it probable?

And if that happens, somehow the problems will be fixed and we will go on.

So if SNRS doesn't make it the 1st round of approvals, the stock drops to $1.50, ultimately & eventually they'll get it right...(wishful thinking, nothing to confirm this view from SNRS) is my ultimate downside risk next to writing the entire investment off as a loss.

I can live with that, can you afford to expose money to this kind of speculative investment?

That's a question for you to answer.

Well Harry; speculative is what was said about Yahoo and I missed it.

Yahoo to you Harry,
Regards,
Duke
