Chris:

I am very familiar with APCO and its a great company. i still own some. HDIE will return to a more reasonable level. It just takes time.

Another reason HIE will rise again is they will need some future investment banking services from the brokerage community. To finance growth they may have to a secondary offering or private placement. I think the company would like to see a higher share price before issuing more shares and in time they'll get it. But as the CEO of APCO said during a recent conference call if we don't need money its seems the brokers don't push/promote your company. This was in response as to why the stock was not performing in line with the company.

HIE is growing rapidly. There is no question they will need to finance this growth using external cash sources IMHO. Therein lies hope for the stock price to be "supported". At this price I doubt the company would issue shares. But if the stock were say $15-$20 like many brokers are predicting.....well you get my drift.

I also think Lehman coming in as a new market maker last month is bullish. He didn't start making a market to short or sell the stock.

good luck,

bob
