Scott-

I have read many of the posts on this thread re: DELL/IBM alliance. Many express doubts about the alliance for fear that it might water down the DELL culture -- and God forbid that "lofty" DELL P/E be watered down. IMO, MD is smart enough to make the best deal for his shareholders and maximize our value over the long term. Sure, IBM is a bit stodgy and a DELL/IBM marriage does not seem to be a perfect match in terms of corporate culture. However, I for one do not believe for a minute that MD has not given these concerns his full attention. I guess you could say I follow MD blindly. If he makes a deal with IBM (whatever it is) I will support it because I do not pretend for a minute to be even half as smart as Mike about DELL or its business.

Great to be on board and thank you for your welcoming message.
