Dennis, I do not have much faith in this bottom, it had no volume and the bounce was not voluminous either. When considering that the whole wafers industry is still operating at 62% and that they require a good 85% utilization rate to be profitable, I think that more red ink will be coming this way. There are already initial signs of price softness in DRAM and resurgence of over production there (see MU sudden swoon from the 80' to the high 40'). Furthermore, the turnips' overall model still have a nasty spill starting within the next three weeks (probably a breach of 10,000 on the DOW without a new high on the NAZ could serve as the trigger?), and more probably into expiration this Friday, I think we will at least retest those lows and probably breach these, IMHO.
