Richard, no, my comments were that PRLN will not be utilizing its full potential unless and until it gets partners with deep pockets to help it explore its "treasure trove" of TCM for a variety of potential antibiotics, antifungals, etc. The model is that of the collaboration between Pharmagenesis and Lilly. However, now that you mention it, I see no reason why others couldn't "copy" AndroVir and AndroCar should they prove successful. As "nutritional supplements" they would not have exclusive rights to market extracts from the plant. The situation would be that of "open competition" such as now exists with melatonin or dhea, not that of "protected market" such as with branded pharmaceuticals like prozac.
