I'm totally agree with you on this. LCOS is a company with no proprietary technology and will always try to play catch up with yahoo which as you already stated would burn up cash fast. I also believe lycos's prospect is poorer than xcit both of which business models are questionable. Netsacpe is a company which needs a lots of cash to compete with MSF. It will jack up the price that these seach engines companies have to pay should these co make any money.
