Jerry Wenger to my knowledge does not promote or mention FINX. The tail on the thread you read was some of my holdings. I however believe that the few small companies in this area with proprietary pattens will be bought up or joint venture with some of the large manufacures. The industry will be huge for a couple of years. New methods and procedures will develop and these companies will be pushed on the side lines.
If you go into your supermaket, department store, restaurant, or any mid size business that needs protection against fradulent checks and credit cards. There are millions of terminals that will need some type of system when the technoligy becomes cheep enough.
This was the first company in this field and lets hope that their pattens end up being the standards for the industry. I do not believe you can go wrong with either IDX or FINX over the next couple of years
