Yeah, right, having worked with various Dell marketing groups for four years makes my comment less than informed. Dell's whole strategy revolves around two words: BE DIRECT

Get it? They spend enough trying to drive that simple concept home.

So what? Dell doesn't promote to VARs. The VARs come to Dell looking for BTO machines.

Dell will be more active with service providers and software companies. They won't go retail.
