The viaLink Company Announces Frito-Lay Veteran as Vice President of Strategic Projects
EDMOND, Okla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 15, 1999--The viaLink Company (Nasdaq:IQIQ - news) today announced that Frito-Lay veteran Steve Conover has been appointed vice president of strategic projects.
Conover joins The viaLink Company with over 22 years of experience in the packaged goods industry, most recently as senior group manager of supply chain innovation with Frito-Lay and PepsiCo, Inc.
As viaLink's vice president of strategic projects, Conover will be responsible for the strategic deployment of viaLink's innovative solutions for business-to-business electronic commerce, including the functionality of Scan Based Trading (SBT) and Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment (CPFR).

Conover represented Frito-Lay on the Grocery Manufacturers of America's direct store delivery (DSD) Committee where he played a leading role in the search for an e-commerce supply chain solution.
