We probably can only act as a catalyst as you suggest. If we really intend to move for a BOD change, then we must propose the change. The prudent way to move on this is to get Calpers and SWIB to agree with us, and either our or their recommendations for the new board. It is my contention that we team up and get those two organizations involved with their selections. Usually, they would also need BOD member selection proposals themselves as they are just pension managers. This forum is a great place to both solicit poetntial candidates and start the ball rolling. We must act as a monolithic team right here and focus on our goals. My suggestion is for this group of activists to solicit a proposed bod first and then go after support.
