"These initiatives will help us to carry out our current strategy of being the market leader for intimate apparel for men and women on the Internet," said Jeff Johnson, QUAD-i's President. "We hope to add approximately 20,000 affiliates by the end of the year and continue increasing our product offerings."
Underneath.com was launched in December 1997 to capitalize on the $5 billion worldwide undergarment market and quickly became the Internet's premier eCommerce web site selling men's and women's brand name undergarments. This feat was attributed to many of the top search engines, including Yahoo (Nasdaq: YHOO), Infoseek (Nasdaq: SEEK) and Excite, recognizing the quality of underneath.com and adding it to their Shopping Channels, as well as recognition from Microsoft, Yahoo Internet Life Magazine and dozens of radio stations and publications nationally and internationally.
Underneath.com is in the process of adding children's undergarments, more socks, ties, and athletic apparel. Underneath.com warehouses all of its product offerings without relying on its vendors to drop-ship. To browse underneath.com's current selections, please visit www.underneath.com.
