Don't misunderstand my point...the SEC is undoubtedly following their tried and true procedures, which I'm sure are quite detailed. Any change or refinement to those procedures would only come after years of feedback and discussion.

My point is that LEAH has been attacked by someone-perhaps a very stupid long or a desperate short-who used the SEC and their procedures as a club to batter LEAH over the head. Unfortunately, LEAH will probably never find out who it was, and that person will probably do it again to someone else.

In the best of all worlds an SEC dedicated to serving the public as you describe would be able to prevent or rectify this sort of thing.
