ZEEV: When you have a 100 ton per day pilot plant every time you runit with the wrong paremetres you waste 100 tons of your sampel, time, etc. One of the problems with the two operations(PMIC and GPGI) is they have a hard to leach material. So they must use higher concentrations of leaching agent, at higher temperature and they must increses the surface area(grind fine) to optimize the time/temperature/concentration envelope. All this is best done at a small, scale first. I would not run the large batch until I had done all my 50 Lb batches first and optimized that. You must scale up all parameteres properly. Temperature is easy, time is easy, agitation is harder. Will the large reactor agitate as efficiently as the small. Filtering the goo. washing it, once or twice, the wash procedure with leaching agent, or water or?(yes you must wash as you end up with gold in liquid, do you want to throw any away, you may bot be permitted to throw any leachate away by environmental gods??) If I had something and I got only 20% out, I would try to get the remaining 80% wouldnt you. Like taxes low efficiencies are universally to be avoided. How would you feel if you got a job for $10,000 a day, but you had to give a commission of $8000 a day to someone and then pay the taxes on the $2000. Nice?? Please give me Twifords post number, as it is hard the read every line of the thread. Bill Jackson |
