I enjoyed Robin Dayne's seminar and feel that it was useful to me. I have heard similar positive sentiments from other traders who attended, but I can recognize that not every person was pleased with it. My goal with this posting is not to debate our feelings about the experience, which can only be subjective and are unlikely to change anyway, but to add some balance by noting that there were satisfied customers. We come from many different backgrounds and experiences, and no specific seminar will be practical and useful for all of us. Robin's prospectus placed heavy emphasis on the emotional and psychological aspects of trading, and she indicated that she would be employing techniques from her years of experience in performance training. Whether or not one agrees with her approach I felt that she and her team worked very hard at delivering value. It is possible that disappointments of this kind are due simply to differing needs and expectations among us that are not realized until the seminar is underway. -Earl
