William, why don't you just say what you mean without hinting? take your stand, which I infer to be a defense of Van Wag. If that's true, of course you may be right.

OTOH, value-style investing presupposes certain market conditions in which it can thrive, conditions which might take many months, or even years to prevail at this point in the "bull market".

My initial NAV in EG is down @ 4$. I am now, by default of owning EG, now a "value" investor, since Van Wag is "waiting" for his stocks to "wake up", despite numerous rallies recently. I'd much rather own another, real value fund, say, Janus, Lindner, Third Ave, etc....
