Lucy <<. This should tell you something about the commodity nature of Iomega's market. And it should tell you something about the failure of the attempt at a "Razor Blade" model. Iomega has realized that Zip is really a "VCR Tape" model. One uses the same Zip disk over and over again, just like a VCR tape. Hell, I have VHS tapes that are 10 years old. My razor gets dull after 3 or 4 uses and gets thrown away. Iomega failed and will continue to fail in this regard, Forever. To base one's hopes and investment on Iomega's flawed model is unfortunate.>> actually research has shown just the opposite relative to zip use (zips are used twice on average, stored, and new zips purchased to store addtl data - not reused - information, now, like junk, is what Americans are compiling). and given the steady increase (relative to percentage) in the number of zips sold, we're only at the beginning of the learning curve, thus your second argument relative to "razor blades" is false. you're dillusional.
