Hi MMV,

Yes, it probably will be used to fund some more purchases of US arms for Africa, leading to even more killing.

Much better to ship them money than food from desperate US farmers, I guess. < sarcasm >

Now if they would give the money to countries like India, they could buy gold jewelry with it.
