i'm glad you accept my clarification...one must be consistent in a strategy..

as far as buying puts...which will increase in premium as the underlying issue declines.....not for me...too bearish....and cash out of my pocket...always prefer if there is a bit of a bear moment to sell a covered call...cash in my pocket...same effect but more conservative...a profit always assured with a covered call, as long as strike is above your underlying cost basis...nothing assured when you short or buy a put...

be comfortable with what you do...look long term...nibble away at profits instead of gorging yourself...let your belly expand with small bites...instead of exploding by gulping down something you shouldn't have eaten anyhow!!!...ed a.
