Why would Dell want to build IBM pc's and then sell the computers for IBM? This would put Dell in competition with themselves. I can see where Dell would purchase components from IBM, but, to build the pc's and sell them for IBM makes no sense to me. For every IBM pc sold, Dell has one less customer available to them.

Can you clarify your thoughts for me? Thanks.
