Yes, Freddy, it's true!! There are quite a few SI addicts here, and I am definitely one of them. I'm sure the Dryers know already, since my emails to them are just desperate when something is wrong.
You know, when I was computerless for a week or so, I was at loose ends. It's true that I read, and went to movies, and I have always been forced to spend a lot of time in what we now call "3D" (isn't that a scream when you really think about it!) because I work and am not hooked up to the Internet at my desk.
However, that whole week I carried around a whole community of people I know intimately but have never seen or touched, in my head. I think maybe I'm mental or something!!! (Okay, don't everyone jump up at once to disagree!!)
I have written before about starting a 12-step program to deal with this addiction, but I wanted to start it here at the Feelings thread, which is the closest thing to therapy we have here at SI. Unclear on the concept or something!! Let's all rattle on about our internet addiction right here on the Internet!
I am no diplomat, obviously, but Penni certainly is. She comes over here and really softens the energy, and I appreciate her so much for that.
