Yeah I used to like Forbes but only because I thought he had a hands off approach to the social issues - which is the only problem, albeit a big one - that I have with republicans. But then I read somewhere that recently he has come out with an anti-choice stance.... if true then I wouldn't support him. I have seen a few talk shows where some moderate republicans said they couldn't get money from the RNC unless they embraced the hard right and their policies (esp. on abortion). If anybody could take a stand against that, it would be Forbes because he is self-financed. So if he folds and just becomes another hard right voice in the thou shalt not party, then I will be very disappointed. Most business people that I know that consider themselves republicans really are angered by this mess with the far right.... it leaves a whole lot of people with no choice but to vote Dem.
