Well Joe...as you know Greed is Greed...so it is very hard to resist the big numbers when you read them.

We must evaluate the facts:

1) Some US funds (including the Midas Fund) have made due dilligence and decided to invest in IPM. That carries a lot of weight.

2) Behre Dolbear has been involved with IPM for more than 1 year now and they have issued one positive report.

3) IPM came out with impressive numbers confirmed by more than one labs.

4) On the other hand, when looking at this dirt, I have problem figuring out that there is gold in there...as I got the same in my backyard..and there ain't no gold there <vbg> But of course, I am not a geologist and would not recognize the difference between massive sulphides and granite.

5) The major North American mining analysts are not believers and
not following IPM... at least not yet!!! Why ??? Probably because, IPM was once delisted from the TSE....but is it a good reason ?

6) I've read comments here by one other member that the IPM guys have lost money for shareholders in some other past deals they where involved in.... But that is the case with most mining people..

As you can see the picture is complex....

I am not totally sold to IPM yet and am cautious. But I also want to keep an open mind... enough to spend my own money and visit them during the past weekend. This visit was really well organised and it looked OK...even if I didn't really learn anything more than what I already did know.

In view of all this....I stands on my position and think that it is a good idea to have a few shares of this company.. But I am limiting my investment to 6% (on a cost basis) of my portfolio.

If the stock remains in the current range, I will hold. If it double, I will likely sell have to recoup my initial investment... But when the BD report comes out...that is when I'll decide exactly what I'll do....buy a lot more or sell everything.
