as we're biding our time, we might as well guess the remaining players...

Since the captains are all major championship winners, I'll say the other 4 captains will come from the following group:

Steve Elkington (an Aussie)
Steve Jones (good friend of Lehman's - since Lehman didn't choose him as a partner, I'm guessing Jones will be a captain himself)
Lee Janzen
Mark Brooks
Nick Price

The reason I picked the above is that each has won a major within the last five years, but their names aren't necessarily associated with "superstardom" in 1999 (with all due respect to Nick Price and Elkington). I don't think CSGC can draw the likes of an O'Meara, Tiger, Els or Davis Love III, but it sure would be a coup if they did. I don't particularly care for Vijay Singh - he's crusty and rude and not a thrill to be around. I don't think he'd do it, anyway.

Another possibility would be Justin Leonard, who is a tremendous young player and has earned the respect of many elders on the tour. He would be outstanding for our tourney.

Just idle thoughts while waiting for next news...IMO we won't see a significant increase in share price until sponsors are announced. That's the revenue stream we need...
