JB: The "Comic Cuts" story was misleading.

"Compaq quietly told a few analysts revenues would be $200 million light -- so the Street takes a few cents out of earnings and the company pretends everything is OK."

Apart from the fact that it didn't tell a few analysts, the $200 million figure related to the devaluation of the Brazil Real. This was an unanticipated one-time expense, not a shortfall in top line revenues due to slowing sales. But, as you say, who cares.

When Cramer covers his pathetic CPQ shorts and gets a few Calls you will notice "Comic Cuts" will start writing a few positive stories about CPQ.

I hear that from next week Cramer is going to start writing what it feels like to move his bowels. Believe it or not some of his followers will lap it up.
