BTW, you are wrong about the impact of crude on gasoline. In the US, where gasoline taxes account for much of the price, a rise from $12 to $15 a barrel probably would push gasoline prices up no more than 10-15% in most staes. And in Europe where gasoline taxes are much higher, the rise would be much less.

And these increases are from exceedingly low levels. US gasoline will still be much cheaper than its historical average in real terms even after these anticipated hikes.
