One of my favorite "characters" MacPhelan Reese who is the writer in residence at the Sam Rayburn Memorial Library in Bonham, Tx -- 35 miles west of Paris -- was quoted in today's Dallas News Bob St John, one of the feature writers for DMN and an acquaintance of mine, reported that Mac spoke in a strong Irish brougue "A man once asked me what is it I might be if not Irish --- Ashamed" Thought of you when I read that this morning .... with the surgery hope the repair is coming along and the function returns and you do well ...... Nemer ps I'll check out the DMN on line and see if I can find you a URL to read the story .......
