I hope I haven't inferred that I was down on HD. Not at all! It's one of my solid long-term winners.

I will ultimately sell HD when enough technical indicators confirm a change in the long-range trend. The benefit of long-term winners is that I can afford to wait out a 20-25% pullback and still be in for the recovery and resumption of gains. The longer I'm in a winning stock, the heavier I tend to weight the positive fundamentals and then look for them to weaken. And, in my book, a high P/E is not a fundamental weakness while other factors remain healthy.
