Sure there is always a way that a industry comes to success. A lobby is in that case indeed the failure for companies like that in the past 20 or more years. Things change though and you mentioned by yourself "internet is to be". What was Internet for 30 - 40 years a sleeping animal! Now in a sudden its big! Tire and such other recycling firms with the name Titan, Quantum etc., will have the winning product at the end. The globes population increases now to a two-fold over the next 50 years. We talk about a resource consumption increase not double I think morefold than that.

The Titan example is not manufacturing crumb rubber, it handles by the way electronics and auto fluff as well. What can go wrong is just that, that we don't produce enough waste anymore.
