Broadway has been out for some time. It is a set of enhancements
to X11R6.3. What Thomas was talking about in particular is called
Low-Bandwidth X (LBX). Although many vendors have implemented
X11R6.3 and 6.4, very few are have implemented the full details
for LBX and Remote-X in particular PC-X vendors who have gone with
their own proprietary enhancements.
