Rob. Thanks for the informed opinion. You have obviously done your DD on this company. However, don't dismiss outright the effects of the Helms-Burton legislation. Pre-revolutionary ownership claims to the mine site could come out of the woodwork from anywhere (and from almost any Cuban-American who just wants to stir the pot a bit). You and I both know that they would probably just be nuisance law suits, but the effect could be quite real (in terms of financing a mining venture). Yes, Sherrit is taking a principled stand, and they have managed to raise the funding necessary for their projects, but that is not to say that any other company will be able to duplicate this feat, especially one that has the Cuban Gov't as a partner. (By the way, I would support Sherrit and any other company that wants to conduct business in Cuba - I just think that you have to be realistic with respect to the possible problems to be overcome, including the effects of Helms- Burton.)

My interest in this company is actually their NWT properties, not the Golden Hill/Cuban connection. You might have better information re: the Cuban situation, but just remember that this is not their only play. Good luck with this one.
