Patience....Liberty by: year2424 (M/San Francisco) 5552 of 5554 Liberty Digital CEO Promotes ITV to Audience At the CTAM Digital and Pay Per View conference in New Orleans, Louisiana, ex-E! founder, Lee Masters, now president and CEO of Liberty Digital, a subsidiary of Liberty Media (owned by TCI) told listeners that his company stood at the head of the interactive television future. Specific assumptions he made about that future included the importance of the electronic program guide as an interactive portal, broadband interactive advertising, electronic commerce, news, gaming, and interactive polling. Masters has been adamant in previous months that convergence will take place and the set-top box will be the technology to make it happen.
