They pretty well have to be. The CSO is a very exclusive club that it takes years to get into. When you're in you get "SIGHTS" which are packages of assorted rough diamonds which you can accept or reject. There's no haggling it's either yes or no. They come up several times a year and if you refuse more than a small number you're back out on the street again which means you have no direct access, but must buy from others who do have a "Sight"..

I'm sure that you've heard of Pavlov's dogs well if you want to see real obedience training check with DeBeers.
