John, More options talk. We both like ALA. You are probably more of a trader than an investor, but looking at Jan 20 puts, one can sell it for 3 3/4. Heck, if ALA is under 20 at that time, I'd consider it a serious buy. There is almost no downside to something like this, or am I just missing the big big picture. Or go to Jan 2001 15 puts, heck, you can get 2 11/16 for them. I know, I know, got to have the margins/cash for them, but if I were rich enough to have cash laying around and wanted to just sit on cash/margin--wouldn't these be some serious dunks off the alley'oop?
Or, how about DIS. If DIS is good enough for King Boufet, it's good nuff for boudreaux. I can do the Jan 25 puts for 1 1/8 or the 30 puts for 2 3/16. I know it's chump change for most of the big boys here, but those dimes add up. It seems like a great way to make income in a cash account.
Help me, I've got to be missing something.
