AlliedSignal and DCH Technology Sign Multi-Year Strategic Alliance

VALENCIA, California (March 4, 1999) - DCH Technology, Inc. (OTC BB:DCHT) and AlliedSignal (NYSE:ALD) have completed a multi-year Strategic Alliance Agreement in the areas of gas sensors,
control electronics and hydrogen energy technologies.

AlliedSignal will be developing aerospace systems which integrate DCH technology for missions ranging from active corrosion control and
nuclear safety to the development and integration of hydrogen powered vessels. Joint business development activities are underway.

The DCH Robust Hydrogen Sensor is an Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) technology that directly combines gas sensors with Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor (CMOS) signal logic is fabricated at the Microelectronics and Technology Center of AlliedSignal.

This is a breakthrough in real-time gas measurement permitting the direct interface with computers to provide responsive protection to equipment which use Gallium Arsenside devices such as radars. Hydrogen is an indicator of biological activity and this sensor may be configured into probes for NASA.

NASA is the largest user of hydrogen as a fuel, however with the advent of fuel cells and microtubines the requirement for high reliability hydrogen sensors embedded in various power systems is projected to increase steadily.

DCH Technology is a hydrogen technology development and manufacturing firm specializing in patented and proprietary gas sensor and safety products that are sold to industrial and government
customers worldwide. DCH's core technologies include the Robust Hydrogen Sensor, the Universal Gas Sensor and the Hydrogen PEM Fuel Cell. DCH safety detection and process monitoring technologies are currently being used by NASA, Westinghouse, Northrop, General Electric, General Motors, Ford and many other large multi-national companies.

The worldwide market for gas sensors is currently estimated at $1billion and rapidly growing. DCH is developing and manufacturing Hydrogen PEM Fuel Cells, in cooperation with Los Alamos National Laboratory at its new facility in Wisconsin.
