Richard, Thanks for your post on moving averages. My question this time had to do with the *length* of the moving average you like to see price cross. Do you like to see price cross, say, the 50-day TSMA, or the 89-day, or the 200-day?

I know you've posted much about moving averages in the past, but I'd sure like to know the specific one you most prefer to watch for opening long positions.

With such a short window (1-3 days to enter), a mistake of using too short or too long of an MA will kill the novice trader. Too short -- whipsawed to death. Too long -- window closed, now heading lower.

Opinions from others here are also appreciated.
