The American Stock Exchange Brokerage Index set another new high. Brokerages JEF.. Tue Mar16 JEF NYSE RESUMPTION - Jefferies Group - Reuters Securities Alert: NYSE OPENING DELAY - Jefferies Group JEF up from 41 to 49 in just 2 trading sessions, still has about 10 points before it too reaches a 52 week high.

Merrill Lynch (MER) and E-Trade (EGRP) finished higher, and Donaldson,
Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ) and Schwab (SCH), hit 52-week highs. Of course they leave out JEF
