To the thread. What do you think of this news? Online retailer Amazon.com (Nasdaq: AMZN) plans to increase its number of authorized common shares to 1.5 billion from 300 million to finance acquisitions and corporate operations and to fend off hostile takeovers. Did they eat through all of the $1.2 billion they have go not too long ago?
