COOL.....
Shares of online computer retailer Cyberian Outpost (COOL) jumped 2 7/8 to 21 3/8 after it unveiled a new online auction site. Designed to attract additional customers looking to bid on cut-rate priced computer equipment, the site supplements Outpost's existing online retail computer store.

"We believe this new offering will appeal to a new universe of shoppers enticed by the auction experience," Darryl Peck, Cyberian
Outpost's President and Chief Executive, said in a statement.

Internet connectivity company AboveNet Communications (ABOV) jumped 7 13/16 to 56 1/2, a gain of 16 percent. The stock's move follows comments Monday by the company's president, Warren Kaplan, who teased the possibility that the company will beat estimates, saying "we like to beat expectations and we have a history of doing so."
