oh, i would suggest the race has just begun, my friend. 10k is only the first of several 5-figure milestones the Dow will pass. annual growth of just 10% would project the Dow to reach 40,000 some time in the year 2013. modest at best, i'm sure you'd agree. fact is, since 1982, a portfolio invested in the S&P 500 would have returned an investor 19.18% so i'd keep those laces tight, and drink plenty liquids. <g>
