not to sure I follow what athm has ion common with cnbc's comments...I think they were referring to the fact that aol is in the s&p...when they merge with nscp, the market cap and therefor the weighting will increase by quite a bit. Therefor to be properly weighted, index managers will need to increase their positions.
I fthis is what she was referring to....athm is not relevant to this situation...neither they nor excite are s&p stocks, so no cpmparison here.
Am I missing something?
