Odd quote from the maximum PC interview: Maximum PC:TNT is stepping aside to make room for TNT2. What's changing? Vivoli: TNT's .25-micron process allows us to run at much higher frequencies. TNT currently ships between 90MHz and 110MHz. TNT2 will have somewhere between a 25% and 50% faster clock frequency. Heck, it could even be twice as fast. Okay, so when's this thing supposed to be released? They don't know yet if it's going to be 25% or 100% faster clock frequency than the TNT. We're not talking about speed here, where different benchmarks can give different results. We're talking about the beat they're going to have the chip dance to. Voodoo3 has breathing room. Simon PS - When did they change the 3Dfx logo? Snuck that right past me...
