The European Union doesn't like the wrong bananas either. But the USA is just as bad with their barriers to NZ agriculture because the USA farmers can't perform as well. China won't be allowed to buy the Hughes satellite. You'd think politicians are out to wreck everything.

We won't need the European standards. Just get Globalstar humming and go with single mode. But they'll cave in and probably Ericy will overlay European GSM with cdmaOne.
