Jon,
You just hit on the most overlooked problem with MRPS, and that is, lack of good management.

I hope that I am not overstating the case and I know I will get jumped on for saying this but here goes anyway.

Mr. Gayle seems like a very affable man. He seems to be a good marketing person. He, like many people in a similar position, does not seem to understand the importance of a balanced approach to all facets of running a company.

Hiring a new CFO now just shows that the company is not sufficiently sophisticated to handle the financial obligations incumbent of a publicly-traded company. They have six employees. It seems that there have been numerous foul-ups culminating in the firing of the CFO. There are just many things for a good CEO to do. One of the most important is to adequately understand that outside investors interests should be valued. There is just no excuse for not having the financial status of the firm under control. And, I am talking about much more than just the preparation of 1998 financial statements.

Now that I said it, watch for all the people with rose-colored glasses to jump on this opinion. I still like the company's prospects, but management that is so totally focused on marketing is not balanced.
