Bill, it's me, Earl Stevens from Maine who spoke with you in the CyberTrader chat room about our plans to go to Nashua. Remember we were talking about traveling? I assumed that you would know it was me from my first name, but our conversation was brief, and I can see how you might have forgotten.
To respond to your suspicions about my motives, I had been meaning to join SI anyway and chose that moment because I wanted to respond to your comments. Also, I spend a fair amount of time in the CyberTrader chat room, and I'm sure there are folks in there who know me well enough to be confident that I know Robin only from the seminar (unless all those chats were part of an elaborate plot leading up to this very moment).
Kidding aside, I am neither defending nor "hyping" Robin's seminar. I was startled by your anger in light of my own experience, and I was trying to suggest to you that people who liked the seminar were not necessarily "wrong" or naive about it. In other words their experiences also have validity. Nobody is denying that the seminar was a frustrating waste of time for you and for anyone who shares your sentiments, but since many people expressed positive feelings it seems fair to surmise that they were getting things they wanted or needed.
Finally, with regard to Robin's motives, we all like to get paid, but I think she also has integrity, and I think she cares. Just my opinion after 5 consecutive days of watching her and interacting with her.
Umm ... regarding that bet about my identity, a thousand shares of ebay would be all right. Send them right along.
