Man in his best state is nothing more than vanity but because of his pride and sinful nature thinks there's nothing higher than himself. God has given us his word and has declared all of us to be sinful in his sight. However instead of casting all into hell where we belong he instead sent his only begotten son to die in our stead. When I say "our" I do not mean everyone though because not everyone will accept him as their personal Lord and Saviour. If he cannot be Lord in someones life because of their constant rejection of him then he also will not be their saviour in the time of their judgement and calamity. Nobody else can save you so I urge you to put your trust in Jesus. You don't know how?...then at least start with some of the basics: Admit your a sinner in the sight of God Be willing to turn from your sin, in other words REPENT Believe that Jesus Christ personally died for you, was buried and rose up from the dead. Through prayer, invite Jesus into your life to become your personal Saviour. Chris
