Zeev; there will be no caustic, or sodium hydroxid I am told. A hydrochloric acid solution(dilute) and other reagent are used. Cost will be no more than $30 per ton for the complete job including cost of capital. Vats will be lined concrete with insulation to keep heat. there will be commonality of pumps, so one set of pumps will look after a number of vats. Each vat will have agitation and it's own heating, probably direct steam injection witha central steam plant to save having gas heaters on every tank. There will be counter current heat exchangers for further heat savings in he in/out liquid balance. It will cost $1.00 per ton to deliver dirt to the facility. Chemicals at say $2.00 per ton max, heat electricity, steam, removing the gold/platinum from the leaching agent will cost as well??. Very definitely under $30 per ton.this is $120 per ounce for all the gold, platinum for free.
Forget the dissolution of the silica, it does not sem to be in the works. Some fluoride etchant may be in there as well as the HCl, ?? there are still unknowns.
