Actually, Hulk wrestled last night on Nitro (in a gimmick-laden tag team with Scott Hall vs. Goldberg and Flair -- don't ask how they constrained to get them in the ring together) and actually exerted himself more than usual. But to what effect?

Chris Benoit is perhaps the best in-ring wrestler I've ever seen, but WCW shows no clue about how to use him. In WWF, he'd be a superstar (actually, Benoit just "won" his first belt in the PPV on Sunday -- a tag team championship with Dean Malenko).

Good booking always beats good wrestling, just as a good script, with competent actors, will always beat out mediocre scripts with the greatest stars. That's why one of the most important skills of an actor is the ability to judge quality scripts. Hanks and Cruise are great at it; Michelle Pfeiffer is not.
